Snorkeling with an Octopus at Molokini near Maui was a great treat. We had exceptionally clear water, and this octopus was out looking for food during the day in shallow water. There were a few fish shadow hunting with the octopus, hoping to get some scraps.
You can see in this picture the octopus is trying to camouflage itself with raised texture all over its body.
