Is it safe to make a purchase with us online?
Yes. SendOwl.com manages our shopping cart and eBook file delivery through their SSL certified and encrypted checkout system. SendOwl is a verified partner of our payment processors, STRIPE, PayPal, and Apple Pay, some of the largest online payment processors in the world. SendOwl does not retain your payment details, it just forwards them securely to STRIPE, PayPal, or Apple Pay, and we never see them. Our website is also SSL secure.
Is your download safe from viruses?
Yes. Our shopping cart company SendOwl.com also manages the secure download of our eBook products. During checkout you will download your eBook from an encrypted link that will expire.
I paid, where do I download my eBook?
Directly after you complete your payment you will automatically be provided with a download link as the next step in the checkout process. You will also receive emails that include your secure download link and a receipt.
Make sure and read the instructions below to learn how to download or transfer the eBook to different types of portable devices.
Are physical books available?
No, our guides are only available as PDF eBooks. But, in each eBook there is an Easy Print Guide Chapter, which has all of the snorkeling spots, condensed in one chapter with a smaller font and no pictures, that is easy to print.
Download Problems
Download Not Working?
If your download will not work, try again in a few minutes. It might just be an internet connection issue. But the most common cause of a download that won’t complete is because of virus software that is interrupting the process. Try the download with your virus software disabled (don’t worry, we guarantee there are no viruses in our PDFs.)
On Apple devices, copy the download link from the checkout download page or your email and paste it into the Safari Web Browser, then follow the instructions below.
All Devices Download Instructions
1. First, if you don’t already have one, you need to get a PDF document reader app to read the book. On Apple devices, the Books app is normally already installed and works well. With most other devices the free Adobe Reader works great with our books. Get the PC and Mac Adobe Reader version here. There is also an Apple Devices Adobe Reader here if you don’t want to use Books. Get the Android Adobe Reader here. Adobe Reader is no longer available for Kindle Fire. Select another PDF reader from the Fire app store because the Kindle Books app has limited PDF functionality.
2. During checkout, a download page will be available. Or you can click the link in the email you received from SendOwl, which will also take you to the download page.

On Apple iPhones and iPads be sure you are using the Safari Web Browser; if you are not sure what browser is being used, copy the link from the checkout download page or your email and paste it into the Safari Browser (Apple’s integrated browser app). Then skip instruction #3.

3. Click the download link. Depending on your device there will be a download button, or you will click the text name of the eBook.
4. On all devices you have to save the PDF eBook to your device for reading offline (the download link expires). That is true even if you can see the book in your browser after clicking the link at #3 above.
Instructions for Specific Devices:
Apple – iPad/iPhone/iPod
Mac Computers
Android – Phones/Tablets
Apple – iPad/iPhone/iPod
Once you have your eBook open in the Safari Web Browser, you need to save it to your device for viewing offline later.
To save it, you need to locate and click on the Share Button, which is the box with the up arrow (sometimes you have to swipe to get it to appear). Then locate the Copy to Books button. You may need to swipe to the left to locate the button.

Now exit your Safari Browser by hitting the home button. Find your Books app and open it. Your snorkeling guide eBook should now be saved to your device, and you can read it offline. You are all done.

Older Apple Devices
Some older apple devices, may have a slightly different set of steps to take, but with all of them you need to save the PDF eBook to your Books (iBooks on older devices) app. With some you had to tap on the book in Safari, and then hit Open in “iBooks”.
On the Chrome browser for Apple devices, you need to tap the screen and a button will appear at the bottom that says Open In. You can then select Books, or another PDF reader.

Mac Computers
After you download and view the eBook, click on the Share drop-down menu, then click on Edit Extensions, and then choose Books or Adobe Reader as the app you want to use to read it. This will save it to your computer.
Android – Phones/Tablets
After clicking the download link you can swipe from the top of your screen in the web browser and you can see the download status. After it has completed downloading your device will either save it to a Files app, or it will open the PDF automatically with a PDF reader. If it does not open automatically exit your browser, find and open your Files app, click on the downloaded PDF, and then select what PDF reader you wish to use. For future reading, open that PDF reader to read your book.
Transfer eBook to Another Device
Transfer eBook to Your Apple Device With iTunes?
If you have already downloaded the PDF to your main computer you can transfer the eBook to your Apple device from your computer with iTunes. Here are instruction pages from Apple for transferring from a Windows PC and from a Mac.
Another method is to download the free Adobe Reader app. In iTunes navigate to “Apps” on your device. In the File Sharing section select Adobe Reader. Then you can just drag and drop the PDF eBook into the “Documents” box, or hit Add and navigate to it on your computer. Sync your device, open Adobe Reader and you will be able to read the eBook.
Transfer eBook to Another Computer, Laptop or Netbook?
The easiest way may be to download the PDF directly to the device, using the download link from your email. You could also transfer the file by using a USB storage device like a portable USB hard drive or flash drive. If both devices have an SD card reader you could also use that. Another great option for transferring files between devices is to use the free service DropBox, or another cloud based service like Apple iCloud, or Google Drive.

Viewing and Reading Questions
Most devices (except Kindle E-readers and Kindle Fire) can use Adobe Reader to read our eBooks. Links to download the app can be found above. Apple devices can also use the integrated Books App, see link up the page. There are many other PDF readers available, but they may not allow full functionality of our eBook.
On Kindle E-readers you won’t see the pictures in color. Also, the navigation links will not work, so you will have to scroll through every page. And the Adobe Reader app is no longer available for Kindle Fire, so select another suitable PDF app from the Kindle store.
