Snorkeling in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, is good all year round. Beware that it gets ridiculously hot between May and October (45°C/113°F) and wearing a wetsuit while not in the sea makes it even worse.
From the beach, the best snorkeling is at Snoopy Island. The shortest way is to swim directly from the beach in front of the Sandy Beach Resort in front of Snoopy Island, but you’ll need to pay. Otherwise you can swim the slightly longer distance from the neighboring public beaches.
I saw fish like the Broomtail Wrasse, Picasso Triggerfish, and Arabian Angelfish, while snorkeling Snoopy Island, see my pictures.
Every hotel on the coast will also offer boat trips to dive or snorkel. When going out farther in the sea with a boat, there are many lionfish, various triggerfish and clownfish to be seen. High chances of seeing Blacktip Reef Sharks and turtles too.
