You can find Aruba snorkeling accommodations in the form of high-rise and low-rise hotels, bed and breakfasts, apartments, condos, and vacation rentals. The hotels are located on the northern half of the island. The rest are all over.
If you want to access all of the snorkeling on the island it is easiest to rent your own car, so it doesn’t really matter where you stay. The resorts on Palm and Eagle Beaches do not have good shore snorkeling. To stay somewhere that has good snorkeling directly out front, get an apartment or vacation rental in the Malmok and Catalina area up north or down in Pos Chiquito near Mangel Halto.

Stay on Palm Beach
You could stay in the high-rise hotel or Palm Beach area and be close to the good snorkeling at Arashi Beach and Catalina Cove. Some of the Aruba snorkeling hotels here are the Playa Linda Beach Resort, Barcelo Aruba, Hotel Riu Palace and Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. Boardwalk Boutique Hotel is a smaller boutique hotel option. A couple of apartment type accommodations in this area are Sunset Beach Studios and Bananas Apartments. There are many restaurants in Palm Beach and you are close to town for more and the big grocery stores.

Where to Stay on Eagle Beach
The low-rise hotel or Eagle Beach area has Aruba snorkeling hotels and resorts like Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort, Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa and MVC Eagle Beach. There are all-inclusive choices on Eagle Beach too, like Tamarijn and Divi Aruba. This area is not too far from the northern snorkel spots. There are restaurants in Eagle Beach, and you are close to town for more eateries and groceries.

In-Town Resort Accommodations
In Oranjestad there are two more hotel resorts, Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino and Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. You have easy access to everything in town and are fairly centrally located for exploring the snorkeling around the island.
The Best Aruba Snorkeling Accommodations
If snorkeling is your number one priority on Aruba and you are experienced at it, we suggest you find a vacation rental or bed and breakfast in the Pos Chiquito area so you are close to the best snorkel spots on the island, Mangel Halto and Puerto Chiquito. You can get up every morning and enjoy wonderful snorkeling, then have the rest of the day to explore what else the island has to offer. You will need to go into Oranjestad or the hotel zones for restaurants and grocery stores.
Snorkeling Vacation Rentals
You can find all types of vacation rentals on Aruba. They are all over the island. TripAdvisor has many choices. This can sometimes be the choice that saves you some money.
