I just returned from my first trip snorkeling with my Divevolk housing and Pixel 9 Pro XL smartphone; it was a liveaboard trip to Nassau, Bahamas. Due to rough water during hurricane Erin and only one site shallow enough for snorkeling, I didn’t get much opportunity to get pictures, but I did find the housing easy to use and was glad my phone survived without mishap. Included in this post are some of the pictures I did get.

I had practiced using it and getting my fingers out of the way in my pool at home which was helpful. I also watched a couple of videos and followed the advice to take the housing on and off the boat in the neoprene cover you can get to protect the screens.

I don’t have much experience yet with the editing capabilities of the Pixel 9 Pro and haven’t added filters or downloaded additional programs yet. These photos are with just the basic housing and my phone. I’m really pleased so far and am excited about the quality of the photos and the video.

Hi Elizabeth, thanks so much for sharing your photos! The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL looks like it does a remarkable job with colors underwater, with only one image trending toward the blue spectrum. And we are glad to hear the Divevolk housing was easy to use and protected your phone.
