Somewhat. The best is probably swimming from the beach to “La Tortue” (the turtle), a small island on the northeast of St Barths. Shell Beach near Gustavia (the capital) is also fun. If you spend any time on St Maarten, then around the Rotary Lookout Point there’s beautiful snorkeling with lots of sea grass, conchs, and turtles.
