Is there better snorkeling on Bimini or Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas? I am considering taking a ferry from south Florida (Fort Lauderdale or Miami) to the Bahamas for just a few days, and I have a choice of destination: Bimini or Freeport, Grand Bahama. Which would be preferable for snorkeling?
I’m considering going this fall, but am flexible and would prefer going when conditions are favorable for snorkeling. Or maybe these are not great destinations for snorkeling and I should go elsewhere? Honest evaluations of current reef conditions appreciated.
