Snorkeling Gladden Cayes was just simply amazing. And so we took tons of pictures and a video that we share on this page. If you have not yet read the first page about snorkeling Gladden Cayes click here.
The picture on the right shows the catamaran that we chartered for our week long snorkeling sail down the coast of Belize. You can see all of our laundry drying on the lifelines.
OK. Let's get back into the snorkeling pictures. Below you can see a forest of sponges growing out from a brain coral head in perfect shallow snorkeling waters.

We found the little Southern Stingray at this location. And you can see it flying underwater in the video that follows.

Although the corals were small here, there was such an abundance of life in huge variety crammed onto the surface of the patch reef that we took a long time looking at everything in detail.

We did not see lots of fish, it is always a pleasure to see a Gray Angelfish. The one below looks like it is in between stages, from juvenile to adult. Adults don't have those white vertical stripes.
