Snorkeling 5 caves 5 graves, Maui

by Greg
(Seattle, Washington, USA)

My family has snorkeled it several times including one time with my 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Getting in and out is all about timing. Yes the waves can move you around a little but most of the rocks are smooth. Once you swim out it is well worth it. We have seen more turtles here than anywhere else on Maui. We have snorkeled here many times and always see turtles. We even saw a ray (5 feet wide). This is a backup plan for snorkel boats when other locations do not work out.

Thanks Greg. We are going back to Maui in a couple of months and will give it a try. I can't wait to swim with those turtles!
