Snorkeling 5 Caves, 5 Graves, Maui

by Linda Covey
(Bay Area, N. CA)

We just got back from Maui (Oct. 2009). The surf at this spot was calm so we got in & out easily. The turtles were close, busy eating and were just of the shoreline. We will go back next year and snorkel further out. Keep trying, it is worth it. My husband and I are in our late 50's and managed fine, we were just careful. Oh, and I just had my hip replaced May 19, 2009!

Snorkeling Jealousy Rears It's Ugly Head!
by: Galen & Nicole

Linda, thanks for your update on snorkeling 5 Caves on Maui. You are the second person this week to tell us about how great the turtles are in that area. We are going to have to get back there soon and give it a go. Keep on snorkeling with your new hip!
