Oahu Snorkeling Guide Shark's Cove Extra Pictures & Video Page
View some more of our Oahu snorkeling tour pictures at Shark's Cove on this page. Now admittedly I (Galen) liked this location better than Nicole. She likes to see more coral (she preferred Three Tables). But I loved the rocky topography and all the fish.

Here is that big Parrotfish that was in the video on the first page. It is kind of hard to see the scale, but this was a big one of these types of fish.

Here is a very short video that Nicole took of me diving down a little ways.

This next shot is not a great picture, but it shows you what you will often see at Shark's Cove. Big boulders with lot's of fish and a sandy bottom.

Here are some Rudderfish.
And this crazy looking fish is a Trumpetfish in it's brown phase. It is kind of a lousy picture, but you get the idea. We often see these in their bright yellow colors. These fish can change their colors and feed by hiding and then suddenly rushing out and ambushing their prey. They use a sucking action to vacuum up their food.

And finally, we snorkeled with a lot of these at this Oahu snorkeling spot, the Achilles Tang.
