Oahu Snorkeling Guide
Ko Olina Lagoon #4

This is defintely the most popular of these Oahu snorkeling spots, Ko Olina #4. It has the most parking, and so people don't end up walking down to the others.

The snorkeling here is really pretty fantastic. Like lagoon #3, this one feels like you are in a fish bowl there are so many fish. Really we would suggest doing this one and at least #3 if you have the time. But it is a long walk trying to snorkel all four in one day. But if you are staying at a resort here, and have a couple of days, snorkel them all.

Don't forget to share your own family Ko Olina snorkeling stories and pictures here.

We saw lots of these Moorish Idols swimming in the Lagoons.

And here is a fairly lousy picture of what I think is a Convict Tang with his dorsal spins out. But I am not really sure.

Here I have a close picture of a Redstriped Pipefish. They are pretty common, but I have a hard time getting pictures of them. They are so long and skinny that if you get their whole body in the picture you have a hard time seeing how neat looking they are.
