Maui Snorkeling Guide Po'olenalena Beach Extra Pics & Videos
Po'olenalena was some of the best Maui snorkeling we experienced, and on this page and the next you can see just some of the great pictures we had fun taking. Some of these pictures are big, so the page may take a moment to load. Have patience, they are worth it! Or at least I think so. This is a very exposed snorkel spot, so we only explore this rocky point when it is fairly calm. In this shot you can see some of the many immature fish schooling around the coral and rocks.


In the picture below you can see some of the very interesting topography that we saw as we snorkeled further around the rocky point. See the two turtles in this picture?

And here is another video of a turtle moving around in the surge. You can see that it was surgy for me also, as I move closer and further away from the turtle in the waves.

Here was a turtle in about 30 feet of water that had been resting under the shelf.
