Maui Snorkeling Guide
Molokini
Extra Pictures & Video Page

Molokini is one stellar Maui snorkeling spot. On this page you will find more of our underwater pictures and a video that shows how clear the water is here. If you did not yet see the first page about Molokini, with tips on choosing a boat company, visit here.

This neat picture shows three different types of fish and some of the nice coral carpeting.

There was an abundance of Red Pencil Urchins at Molokini.

Our snorkel boat company offered Snuba for an additional charge. Basically you have a diving tank that sits in a little raft on the surface of the water, and you dive down with a tube that goes back to the surface. It is sort of like a novice diving experience. Here are a couple of pictures of some folks enjoying this experience. Note that I am pretty much as deep as them when I took the pictures, and I am a novice free diver. Look ma, no hoses.

Here is another fun video with a bunch of Pennant Butterflyfish getting up and personal.

Here is one of the crew members diving down with the camera from one of the snorkelers to take a picture of them (from upside down no less).
