Maui Snorkeling Guide Mokapu Beach (& Ulua Beach)
There is great Maui snorkeling to be had around the rocky points between Mokapu Beach and Ulua Beach. Mokapu beach tends to be a little less crowded, and sits right in front of the Renaissance Wailea Resort. This is a popular snorkeling spot and for good reason.

Maui Snorkeling
It sounds a bit repetitive, but yes, once again the snorkeling is around the rocky point between two different beaches. And since you share the same parking lot for both, we like to snorkel all the way around this point, getting in at one beach and getting out at the next. Or we just swim back!

The snorkeling around this rocky point is very good, although it can get cloudy. The reef is very big here and offers a lot of variety, and there are tons of fish.
We also like to explore the rocky point at the south end of Ulua beach. There are some nice finger reefs here that are fun to see. But this side can be a bit more wavy.
These beaches have some facilities including showers and restrooms.
