Kama'ole Beach I & II
Kama'ole is a beautiful Maui snorkeling beach. The snorkeling is really between Kama'ole Beach I and Beach II, around the rocky point, in front of the Royal Mauian Condos.
This is really a very beautiful beach, and so easy to access, with close street parking and lots of facilities available at the park.

The snorkeling between Kama'ole I and II is definitely better than at Charley Young, with lots of coral and fish. We had a great time watching the turtles here swimming around and munching food. We also found some very interesting underwater relief, with long finger reefs jutting offshore. It has less depth than between Kama'ole II & III, and when we went it was pretty cloudy.
It is a pretty exposed location, so we prefer to snorkel it when it is calm.

Driving Directions to Kama'ole Beach I & II from Kihei
This beach is in Kiehi on S Kihei Rd. Kama'ole Beach II is the middle of the three Kama'oles. It is south of Kama'ole I which is across from Alanui Ke Alii Rd. The best parking for the snorkeling is just south of Kama'ole I in front of the Royal Mauian Condos.
