Maui Snorkeling Guide
Ali'i Kahekili Beach Park
Extra Pictures & Video Page

Here we share more pictures of this stunning Maui snorkeling beach - Kahekili. This beach is a gem to snorkel, and if you have not yet read our first page with more pictures, descriptions and driving directions, go here.

Barracuda are very interested in us snorkelers, everywhere in the world that we have come across them. This one was no different. It would hang out, following us around at a safe distance.

This little guy is pretty interesting looking. I assume it is some type of Surgeonfish, probably a Bluespine, but I am not sure.

Here are a couple more similar fish, but you can see that they are a bit different looking, other than the unicorn horn on the front. I am going to have to get some better books!

Here is a common Black Triggerfish. We see these snorkeling all the time in Hawaii.

Here is a video looking into the deeper waters. It was a little cloudy for this video, but you can see tons of Convict Tang fish dotting the area.

And these next two pictures show a Whitemouth Moray Eel, first sticking his head out of a rock, and then swimming for cover. When he started swimming in the open a pile of fish converged to pester him. Not the most fun I bet!
