Kauai Snorkeling Guide Secret Beach
When it is super calm in the summer, this Kauai snorkeling spot is supposedly very good.
Unfortunately we have never been here when it is calm. We definitely don't want to enter the water when it looks like the picture below.

And in the video below you can get a sense for how big this beach is, and how nasty it was on the day we were there.

But we have hiked down to it, and it is a beautiful hike down a gentle dirt trail, leading out to an immense sandy beach. This beach has been known to be a popular nudist spot, but we didn't see any evidence of that. So be aware of that if you are shy.

Driving Directions - Secret Beach from Princeville
Kauai Snorkeling
Princeville is on the north shore of the island off of Hwy 56 (Kuhio Hwy). Head east on Hwy 56 and just past the 24 mile marker turn left on Kalihiwai Rd and take your first right onto a dirt road and park at the end. There is a decent hike down to this beach.
