Ka'anapali & Molokini Snorkeling - Maui

The water at Molokini
We stayed at the Ka'anapali Westin Resort. We snorkeled right out from the hotel. We saw fish within feet of getting into the water. My 9 year old could just get in and start snorkeling! We took a charter to Molokini one day. It was a great trip but we were a bit disappointed in the variety of fish that we saw. I did see a shark as soon as I got in the water! That was very thrilling! Luckily the expert on board had already talked about seeing them and that they were very timid. Our opinion was there was more fish to see at the beach outside of our hotel, but it is still a must see place! |
